Overview
Getting the product wrong is much more expensive than getting it right slowly, so this service checks the idea before any development begins. We interview likely users, chart what they need to accomplish and sketch every flow from start to finish, including the easily missed cases like empty screens, errors and partial permissions. You come away with annotated wireframes, a prioritised feature list and an estimate your team can plan around.
What you receive
- Five recorded interviews with users, plus a summary of key insights
- Diagrams for the primary user journey and two supporting journeys
- Up to 20 annotated wireframe screens, covering blank and failure states
- A prioritised backlog dividing what ships first from what waits
- A log of assumptions, each paired with a way to test it
- Phase-by-phase effort estimates given as low-to-high ranges
- A presentation of the findings to your wider team
How it runs
-
Step - 01
Interview
We hold five conversations with actual users or close stand-ins for them.
-
Step - 02
Synthesise
Patterns are drawn out and conflicting signals are flagged openly, not hidden.
-
Step - 03
Sketch
Flows and wireframes are produced and reviewed with you in two rounds.
-
Step - 04
Prioritise
Features are ranked and estimated based on what the research showed.
Timeline: 12 working days, counted from the day we receive what we need from you.
Is it a fit?
A good match for
- Founders with a product idea but no written specification
- Teams whose previous launch included features that went unused
- Companies that must present a believable estimate to their board
What we need from you
- Contact with five users, or colleagues close to the problem
- One decision-maker available for two review meetings
- Past research, support tickets and recurring sales objections you hold
Why it helps
- Scope debates happen on wireframes instead of on half-built code
- Estimates are based on drawn screens rather than a vague brief
- Weak assumptions surface early, when changing course is inexpensive
Questions
We can run with three, or interview your sales and support colleagues who speak with users every day. Your findings will note that confidence is lower as a result.
No. This covers structure and flow only. Visual interface design is delivered through our separate app design and component library services.
They can use them for layout, structure and interaction logic. Most teams still add a visual design stage before front-end development begins.
