Overview
Auditors want proof, gathered over months, covering access reviews, change approvals, backup restores and log retention. Scrambling for that proof after the audit period starts is stressful and error-prone. We set up the technical controls first: automated access reviews, change control through required code review approvals, central logging with proper retention, and vulnerability fix deadlines by severity. Wherever possible, evidence is captured automatically, sparing your team a hunt for screenshots later. You enter the observation window with controls already running and a clear evidence map.
What you receive
- Gap review measured against your in-scope trust services criteria
- Automated access reviews that generate evidence each quarter
- Change control enforced through required code review approvals, with a record
- Central log collection kept for as long as auditors require
- Vulnerability handling process with fix deadlines set by severity
- Documented tests of restoring backups and recovering from failure
- A runbook linking each control to how its evidence is gathered
How it runs
-
Step - 01
Gap review
We compare your current controls with the criteria included in your audit scope.
-
Step - 02
Controls
Technical controls are put in place and connected to the tools you already use.
-
Step - 03
Automation
Evidence gathering is scheduled so proof builds up without anyone doing it manually.
-
Step - 04
Dry run
We simulate an auditor's evidence request so gaps surface before the real audit.
Timeline: 30 working days, counted from the day we receive what we need from you.
Is it a fit?
A good match for
- Businesses losing enterprise deals at the security questionnaire stage
- Startups about to start their Type II observation period for SOC 2
- Teams with a compliance platform but no engineers to implement it
What we need from you
- Admin access to your cloud, identity provider and code repositories
- One person on your side who owns compliance
- Details of the audit firm or compliance tool you have picked, if any
Why it helps
- Proof gathers automatically rather than being pieced together later
- Controls are live and working when the audit period starts
- Fewer exceptions for the auditor to raise
Questions
No. Only a licensed CPA firm can perform the audit. We get your controls and evidence ready and can work alongside whichever auditor you appoint.
Many technical controls overlap. ISO 27001 also needs a management system and supporting documents, which are not included here and would be scoped separately.
A Type II report needs an observation period of several months once controls are running. Our work speeds up readiness; it does not shorten that period.
