Overview
The point of an MVP is to learn whether people will actually use your idea. We build it from one shared codebase and do a single core journey well instead of several journeys badly. A managed build service handles releases, and remote updates mean a fix can go out before any store has reviewed it. We also include notifications, offline behaviour for weak signal and crash tracking, since people judge an app harshly when those are missing, and we manage both store submissions for you.
What you receive
- A single codebase that builds apps for both major phone platforms
- A maximum of 15 screens, all serving a single journey from start to finish
- Sign-in, notifications and offline-friendly data handling for patchy mobile signal
- Crash and error reports sent to a monitoring service
- Store listing assets prepared and both app store submissions handled
- Remote update mechanism so fixes reach users after launch without store review
- Source code, app signing keys and publisher accounts, all in your name
How it runs
-
Step - 01
Scope
We trim your wish list down to the single journey most worth proving.
-
Step - 02
Build
Work runs in two-week cycles, each ending with a build you can test.
-
Step - 03
Beta
Selected users try the app through each store's internal testing channel.
-
Step - 04
Release
We submit to both stores, respond to review feedback and watch the launch.
Timeline: 35 working days, counted from the day we receive what we need from you.
Is it a fit?
A good match for
- Founders who want evidence of demand ahead of a full-scale build
- Brands repeatedly hearing customers request a mobile app
- Companies with an established web product but no mobile app
What we need from you
- Developer accounts on both platforms, or budget to register them
- Agreement on which one journey this first release needs to validate
- A weekly point of contact to test builds and settle product queries
Why it helps
- A shared codebase means every update is written one time for both platforms
- Real users holding a working app within weeks, rather than months
- You own the publishing accounts and signing keys from day one
Questions
You pay them directly to the platform owners. Your app is always published under your own developer accounts, never under ours, so you keep full control.
Remote updates let urgent fixes reach users quickly. Further feature work or ongoing support sits outside this scope and can be arranged separately.
For an MVP, two native apps usually cost much more with little benefit users would notice. If your plans later call for heavy use of device hardware, we will flag it.
